May 18, 2017 – Save the date!!!!

Your school counselor will have more information closer to the event.  NH Scholars Day Flyer 2017

The NH College & University Council cordially invites you and your graduating NH Scholars seniors to our annual NH Scholars Day celebration.  We are excited to recognize the 2016 NH Scholars class for their hard work and commitment to complete a rigorous core course of study.

When: Thursday, May 18, 2017, 9:00AM-2:00PM

Where: Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, Manchester, NH

For Schools:

Bus Information for Schools:

Schools should reserve their bus through their bus company.

We have partnered with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to offer a unique celebration with recognition from special dignitaries, photo opportunities inside the ballpark; and a professional baseball game between the Fisher Cats and Reading Phillies.  The NH Scholars theme will be prevalent throughout the game via displays and messaging. The game will begin at 11:35am immediately following our ceremony.

Game Tickets

Tickets cost $4.  Schools – please use the “Ticket Request Form” below.  Anyone entering the stadium needs a ticket, so please include all students, chaperones, community partner guests, etc.  This check/credit card/form should be returned to  Ticket Request Form-17

The Fisher Cats are offering three options highlighted on the “Lunch Form” below.  Schools have the choice to pre-buy lunch vouchers for $6.75-$10.00 or simply encourage your students to bring cash for ballpark concessions.  The pizza option is an oversized slice of pizza – essentially one-quarter of a full-sized pizza. As always, we will pay for your bus transportation.  We ask that you reserve your bus and send final invoices to us.  We will pay up to $250 per bus.  When reserving your bus, you can generally plan for a 9:00am-9:30am arrival in Manchester and can be picked up anytime between 12-3pm.  ***Upon recommendations from business leaders at our annual Breakfast of Champions event, I have attached a bus transportation sponsorship flyer.  We are asking that you make an effort to recruit a business partner to fund your bus transportation.  It’s an easy sell.  And a great way to get them involved.  The sponsorship includes free entry to the event for your business sponsor. ***  Sponsorship Opportunities_NH Scholars_2017_NH Scholars Day_Bus Transportation

Dress code

Student dress is left to the discretion of the school.  In recent years, some schools have opted for formal dress (shirts/tie, dresses when we were at the State House) while others choose to wear school colors in less formal attire (senior class shirts, etc).  Both variations look terrific in the photographs.  But keep in mind, we are at the ballpark, so comfortable attire is perfectly acceptable.
