Business Participation The New Hampshire Scholars Program depends on the business community for success. The program is unique because leaders in the business community deliver the message directly to students about the importance of high school coursework and its impact on their future success. Business people make presentations to eighth grade students just before they choose their high school course load. These volunteers help students understand that the choices they make today have a direct impact on their career and business success tomorrow. Difficult courses in lab sciences, math and other advanced study create options for students in the future. Other ways businesses can help The role for
the business community continues throughout high
school with continuous participation that provides academic support to students who have chosen the State
Scholars Core Course of Study. This support ensures that the
participating students succeed with challenging curricula. |
